Si segnala l’IAHR Training Course “Shallow mixing interfaces and their role in controlling flow, mixing and sediment transport at river confluences” che si terrà in modalità online dal 27 Ottobre al 3 Novembre p.v. ed avrà come relatori Carlo Gualtieri, George Constantinescu (University of Iowa, USA) e Sebastien Proust (INRAE, Francia). Il corso è rivolto soprattutto ai giovani ricercatori ed è strutturato in tre moduli:

• Module 1: Theoretical and Laboratory Studies of Shallow Mixing Layers | Monday 27 October – Tuesday 28 October 2025 | 14:00 – 16:00 CET
• Module 2: Field Studies of River Confluences | Wednesday 29 October – Thursday 30 October | 14:00–16:00 CET
• Module 3: Numerical Simulations of Mixing Processes | Friday 31 October – Monday 3 November | 14:00 – 16:00 CET
