We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming workshop titled “Machine Learning Applications in Water Resources Management,” which will be held online on Monday, November 25. The workshop is organised in the framework of the project DICAM-EXC (funded by MUR call “Departments of Excellence 2023-2027”) at the Department of Civil, Mechanical, and Environmental Engineering (DICAM), University of Trento, Italy. This workshop aims to explore advanced applications of machine learning tailored explicitly to water resources management challenges, specifically focusing on the synergy between water management and weather forecasting.
Invited speakers are:
- Dr. Giuliano Di Baldassarre, Professor of Hydrology and Environmental Analysis at Uppasala University, Sweden.
- Dr. Sebastian Lerch, Junior research group leader at the Institute of Statistics, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
- Dr. Matteo Giuliani, Assistant Professor in the Environmental Intelligence for Global Change Lab at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy.
